Well, another scouting year is upon us.  Our boys are almost done with the Cub Scout program and are preparing for the transition to Boy Scouts.  My goal is for all of the boys to be in a position to make this transition, but it will take some effort on all of our parts.  I think everyone is in pretty good shape with regard to completing WeBeLoS activities, but we really need to hit the Arrow of Light requirements hard this Fall.  Receiving the Arrow of Light is important if your young Scout would like to immediately bridge into a Boy Scout Troop of his choosing.  This bridging will occur at the Blue and Gold Banquet this year, so we have less than 4 months to make sure this happens. If your Scout has not yet decided on his future Troop, please do so in the coming months - as we plan on inviting the Scoutmasters from the respective Troops to participate in the Arrow of Light Ceremony.  Let's make sure our Scouts have a great year!
