10AM Saturday, September 26 /
Walkersville Watershed /
RSVP Peter Ireland

WeBeLoS and their adult arrive at the watershed at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday September 26th.  They will then set up camp and then fall in with the Boy Scouts and enjoy the weekend.  Departure will be Sunday morning following breakfast.  The scouts will be playing board games, and participating in different sport activities.  If there is something the Scouts really need to work on, just let me know and I can pose it to the Troop for consideration.

The Troop would like to have a headcount by September 16th - this will give them adequate time to plan their menus and campsite assignments.

For the WeBeLoS 1's, there is an option other than staying the night.  The Troop has offered to help us with our Cast Iron Chef requirement.  This is our opportunity to complete the cooking and cleaning requirement of Cast Iron Chef - I will not be covering this at a den meeting - so this is really going to be our 3rd den meeting in September.  If your scout does not wish to spend the night, they can arrive at 4:00 p.m..  Our den will be put in our own patrol and our patrol will cook dinner and then learn how to properly complete KP duty.  The Troop will provide us a scout or two to help lead out boys through this activity.  Departure should be around 7:00 p.m., but you would be welcome to stay and socialize up until lights out.  You never know, there could be an impromptu campfire complete with skits and songs - it has been know to happen.
