FSK DISTRICT SUPER DERBY 2022 SATURDAY, APRIL 09, 2022 FSK MALL 5500 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, MD 21703 Registration Deadline: Saturday, April 2, 2022 GET READY RACE FANS... Feel the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat as the best Pinewood Derby racers in the district compete at the Francis Scott Key District Super Derby. • Each Pack may send a total of fifteen (18) Cub Scout racers to compete in five (5) divisions: (6)-Lion/Tiger (3 lions and 3 tigers), (3)-Wolf, (3)-Bear, (3)-Webelos, and (3)-Arrow of Light Scouts. • The registration fee is $4 per racer ($72 total per Pack participating with 18 racers). • Volunteers are needed to assist with the Derby (no more than one per pack). Sign up to volunteer in the last tab of the Registration spreadsheet (see Notes below). • Trophies will be awarded to the top three (3) racers in each division. Trophies are awarded immediately after each divisional race. • Every participant will get an FSK District Super Derby commemorative patch. (Pack registrations only; no individual registrations.) • NO MONEY will be accepted on Race Day. • It is understood that all Scouts/Parents/Adults sent from your Pack are in receipt and comply with the Super Derby Rules (click here for rules). • Prompt race day Registration/Check-in is strongly suggested due to the number of racers; this will allow for last minute minor car modifications, if needed (e.g. car over weight limit). • Super Derby official weight scales are very sensitive and accurate to the third decimal place; cars that may be acceptable at your Pack Derby may be overweight at Super Derby. • To ensure you receive the latest information and updates, each Pack should email at least one Point of Contact (POC), two preferably, to the Super Derby POC below.
